Manufacturing Unit

The leather manufacturing unit at JLE is a vast area of 20,000 sq.ft. Wherein we have installed state-of-the-art modern machineries which are adept at delivering top-notch leathers. This unit holds the capacity of producing as much as 6,00,000 sq.ft of finished leather every month. The production area is well organized with each division to enable optimum production.

R&D Unit

The uniqueness at JLE stands in its ability to be trendsetters by creating leathers that remain a la mode. And this attribute is well enabled in the R&D unit wherein our team of bustling specialists make use of our specialized resources of chemicals and machinery to create exquisite leathers that the world loves.

Workforce

Our organization has a workforce of 100 members, women employees accounting to 40% who are all significant players of our growth. The employees are well devised based on their innate skills into groups namely production, research and development, supervision, administration, logistics management, and maintenance. We at JLE believe in working as a team and with that intent we ensure every employee has access to equal rights and benefits by upskilling himself or herself with us by means of regular training sessions organized by the management.

Safety

Our company maintains a safe workplace environment and is in compliance with all associated regulations. The management promotes a safe work attitude, develops, and communicates safety programs& standards to all its employees.

The area of production is well planned and follows the factory regulatory norms. The chemical storage division is maintained dry and well ventilated, and special attention is given to storage of hazardous chemicals.

We also have our own Restricted Substances Policy that mandates compliance with the laws, and regulations that restrict the type and concentration of potentially hazardous substances in products & Compliance with the Restricted Substances Policy by our business partners.

Therefore, it is imperative for all our suppliers to provide materials that are free from or within, permissible levels of restricted substance.

All employees are provided with needful PPE and timely education on importance of safety at work is instilled amongst them. Biennial mock safety drills are organized wherein the process of safe evacuation and emergency exits is explained.
